After seeing one too many pets ending up in shelters because of the owner’s health, Steven decided to do some independent research and found out that almost 1 in 5 animals in shelters or rescue organizations ended up there due to health issues of their owners. Steven was determined to do something about it and decided to create the free pet guardianship kit to try and deal with the issue.
Steven Klein has been practicing law in the GTA since 1994 and has been active in the animal rescue community for over 20 years. His most recent rescue, Benji, was abandoned at the age of twelve simply because he got too old. Steven and his family simply could not part with Benji after fostering him for several months and decided to adopt him. Today, Benji is living his best life!
